The Project involved design of the internal courtyard amidst the three multi storey residential buildings located in Williamstown, a historically significant Victoria’s major cargo port. The design retained a circular wall of the existing gasometer pit to reflect the history of site. It was used as an abstract sculpture to lead the residents in to the landscaped courtyard space. The angular space in between the Residential buildings was transformed into a harmonious ourtyard by integrating the Planting design with interesting pedestrian linkages to the respective units.
