Coastal Eco Resort

Landscape Masterplan
Year: 2006

This Coastal Eco Resort perched high on the cliff tops overlooking Bass Strait required a high level of environmental design resolutions. Extensive landscaping throughout the development using indigenous coastal vegetation, reduces the visual impact of buildings and resort facilities at and beyond the site. The Planting also aims to integrate the resort into the existing landscape and reinstate the original vegetation character. Combining site engineering and landscape design outcomes, minimised any environmental impacts beyond the site – all surface runoff, drainage and site generated waste were contained within the site.
